Most of the formal organization of SFCCP takes place on mailing lists. Everyone should join the Announcements mailing list whereas only people interested in sysadmin volunteering should join the Sysadmins mailing list. You can subscribe to the various mailing lists by going to their info page and filling in the form. Here are the public mailing lists for SFCCP:

• Announce List - This is a low-volume, announcement-only mailing list that everybody should be on. This list is where you find out about upcoming events, scheduled maintenance, network outages and important notices. You can also read the announcement archives. You can also subscribe by entering your e-mail here:

• Sysadmins List - This is a discussion list for SFCCP sysadmin volunteers. This is a private list intended only for sysadmin volunteers, although any SFCCP client is welcome to join the list and participate. This list is administered by the sysadmins working group. You can read the archives online but this is only available to list members.

• Organizers List - This is a discussion list for the SFCCP organizers working group. Because this list contains sensitive, personal information, it is a private list intended only for organizers volunteers. This list is administered by the organizers working group.
